OpenScape DECT Handsets — SL7, S6, R6, M3

OpenScape DECT handsets work with BSIP2 base stations. In IP DECT systems they connect via SIP; in TDM systems via SLMC card. SL7 (slim premium, USB-C), S6 (standard office), R6 (IP65 rugged), M3 (industrial/man-down/ATEX Ex). All models: seamless handover, DECT encryption, 500 phonebook entries, OScAR alarm message reception.

  • M3 alarm features — Basic (M3/M3 Ex): emergency call key (short/long press), 3 pre-configured emergency numbers, out-of-range/low battery auto alarm, front LED indicator; Extended (M3 Plus/M3 Ex Plus): deliberate alarms (no-movement, man-down, timed, escape, technical, pull-cord alarm), each alarm type with its own number, OScAR alarm server integration

  • Common features (all models): multi-system (simultaneous registration to 4 DECT systems), seamless roaming & handover, DECT encryption, ~500 phonebook entries, programmable keys, vibration alarm, OScAR message reception
  • System connection: via BSIP2 IP base station → SIP in IP DECT systems, via SLMC card in TDM systems — handsets are platform-agnostic, they don't see the platform protocol
