Extension unit that adds +8 analog sensor ports to Vutlan master units over CAN bus. Sensors are auto-detected; up to 24 VT408 units can be chained on one CAN line, with bus length up to 225 m. Used when the master unit runs out of ports or sensors are clustered in a remote rack.

## Key features

- 8 × RJ11/RJ12 6P4C analog sensor ports (A1–A8) — sensor type auto-detected.
- 2 × RJ12 CAN ports — daisy-chain connection to the master unit and other CAN devices.
- Up to 24 VT408 units on one CAN line (if no other CAN devices are present); max CAN bus length 225 m.
- Analog sensor cable distance 50–150 m depending on sensor type.
- 12V DC power — adapter included; external power is recommended for all CAN devices.
- TR (terminator) switch — enabled on the last device of the line; RUN/ERR LEDs.
- Compatible masters: VT225t, VT335G, VT336t, VT825G, VT855G, VT604G/VT608G, VT-PDU 4PS/4MS, LR800.
- Mounting: desktop, VT123 wall brackets, 19" 1U with VT125t (2 × VT408) or VT122t (VT335G + VT408), DIN rail with DRP-03.
