Digital interface board terminating external trunk connections on OpenScape 4000 — V11-era successor to DIUT2. Single PCB supports two loadware variants: E1 (ISDN PRI / CAS) and T1 (BOS / MOS / CVN).

- DIUT 3rd gen — unifies DIUN2 (Q2196) and DIU2U (Q2216) technology on a single PCB; DIUT3 brings the V11 refinement.
- Two LW variants: E1 (ISDN PRI / CAS) or T1 (BOS / MOS / CVN) — region-specific configuration.
- Access to the LTU shelf's 4 standard PCM highways.
- Support for the 4 additional highways of the extended (Wideband) LTU shelf.
- Optical backplane interface NOT supported (per §6.1.1 doc note).
- Configured via the AMO BCSU command (§6.1.5).
- LED indication: power, sync, trunk level, fault.
- Hot-pluggable: removal/replacement in §6.1.6/6.1.7.
